Sanju graduated from a university in India in 2017 before moving to New Zealand in 2019 to pursue her Master's degree at Lincoln University. After completing her veterinary licensing examinations in early 2021, she began her career in New Zealand as a mixed animal veterinarian in November 2021.
One of the things Sanju enjoys most about being a veterinarian is building relationships with both her patients and their people. She loves getting to know the families behind the animals she cares for and believes that good communication is an important part of providing the best possible care. While she continues to enjoy the variety that comes with mixed practice, she is currently focusing on expanding her knowledge and skills in small animal medicine and surgery.
Outside of work, you'll usually find Sanju spending time with her fiancé and their two cats (Kevin and Binks) and dog (Zorro). Whether it's a cosy night at home or a fun evening out dancing and singing karaoke, she loves making the most of her time with family and friends.
